Spider-Man Takes Flight with Scoot in New Movie Themed Aviation Partnership

Travellers can soon embark on a superhero inspired adventure as Scoot unveils a new partnership with Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day, bringing the beloved web slinger to the skies aboard selected flights.

Running until 13 September 2026, the partnership will see two specially themed Scoot aircraft, an Airbus A321neo and a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, transformed with Spider-Man: Brand New Day branding. Customers flying on the aircraft can enjoy an immersive movie themed experience featuring exterior decals, specially designed headrest covers, and music from the upcoming film played on board.

Passengers can also get their hands on exclusive Spider-Man themed merchandise during their journey. Gifts with onboard purchases include collectible flight tags or foldable eco bags, subject to terms and conditions.

The first themed flights are scheduled to operate on 30 June 2026, when the Boeing 787 Dreamliner takes off for Tokyo (Haneda), followed by the Airbus A321neo’s inaugural themed service to Chiang Mai on 1 July 2026. After these debut flights, the aircraft will be rostered on selected routes across Australia, China, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand.

As part of normal airline operations, the themed aircraft may also be deployed on other routes served by the Airbus A321neo and Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleets. This means travellers could unexpectedly find themselves onboard one of the Spider-Man themed aircraft, adding an element of surprise to their journey.

The experience begins even before boarding. At Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1, customers can look forward to Spider-Man installations at the check in area, offering photo opportunities and setting the stage for the adventure ahead.

For fans hoping to secure a seat on one of the themed flights, Scoot has labelled eligible services on its website, mobile app and WeChat Mini Program. Flight schedules for the themed aircraft will also be published on Scoot’s website, although operations remain subject to regulatory approvals and schedule changes.
