Minions, LABUBU, CRYBABY, and Football Legends Take Over Sentosa at Resorts World Sentosa Summer of Treasures

Resorts World Sentosa is pulling out all the stops to turn the island into the ultimate hangout spot from day to night. Running from now to 30 August 2026, their new resort wide Summer of Treasures campaign brings together pop culture, beloved characters, sustainability, and sports into one massive celebration. We attended an exclusive media preview for this campaign last week, and here are some inside scoops on what to expect.

We started our journey by checking out the World Oceans Day activities at the Singapore Oceanarium. The Research and Learning Centre was buzzing with energy and we had a great time exploring the curated marketplace, which essentially functioned as a wonderful popup bazaar featuring Singapore based brands dedicated to reducing environmental impact.

This event, running in conjunction with Go Green SG, highlighted the importance of reef stewardship through immersive play and hands on learning. Children and young adults were able to take on roles like Reef Rescuer and Reef Ranger to learn about ocean clean up and reef restoration. For those planning a visit, regular admission to the Singapore Oceanarium starts at Adult (S) and Senior or Child (S).

While wandering through the retail and lifestyle destination WEAVE, we took some fun photos with POP MART’s life sized LABUBU. Dressed in a classic football jersey and standing proudly with the World Cup trophy, LABUBU captures the football fever taking over the resort.

This is part of the larger football celebration happening across the integrated resort, which includes appearances by legends like Michael Owen, Dimitar Berbatov, Ryan Giggs, and local hero Fandi Ahmad at Adventure Cove Waterpark. WEAVE also hosts the Hypebeast Cup Singapore Pop Up, an exciting sport and lifestyle experience running from 22 June to 19 July 2026. It is anchored by a massive EA SPORTS FC tournament and features limited edition drops from global brands.

Next up on our preview was the spectacular Illumination’s Minions and Monsters Summer at Universal Studios Singapore.

We got a first hand look at the brand new live show, Conjuring Chaos, featuring the newest Minions, James and Henry. The park is completely decked out with new characters and scenes inspired by the upcoming film.

We also tried out the exclusive Minions food, savouring Irene’s Chicken Cutlet Sandwich, James’ Banana and Hazelnut Bombolone, and the refreshing Minions Spellbinding Tea. Of course, we could not resist browsing the exclusive merchandise at the Silver Screen store, which offers everything from plush toys to apparel for the ultimate fans. Access to this event is included with regular theme park admission, with tickets starting at Adult (S) and Child (S).

The summer fun stretches even further across the resort. Adventure Cove Waterpark is hosting its first Sanrio Hapidanbui Summer, bringing a sun kissed takeover featuring popular characters like Hangyodon, Kerokerokeroppi, and Pochacco.

Visitors can snap pictures with adorable inflatables and enjoy themed food such as the Hangyodon Fish Burger at The Bay Restaurant. Admission to the waterpark begins at Adult (S) and Child (S).

For fans of POP MART, the Singapore Oceanarium will also launch the Cry Me an Ocean activation from 24 June to 30 August 2026. This massive setup will feature seven newly created marine themed CRYBABY characters through larger than life inflatables and sculptures set right next to marine habitats.

If you are looking for an extended stay, the highly coveted Ocean Dreams glamping experience is back. Guests can spend the night in bespoke glamping tents set against the stunning backdrop of the Open Ocean Zone.

Additionally, those looking for evening entertainment can check out the new Twilight ticket options offering late entry to the parks, or catch concerts featuring diverse artists at the Resorts World Ballroom.

To top it all off, every visit this summer rewards you with a Summer of Treasures Scratch Card for any spending at dining outlets, retail stores, or attractions, giving you a chance to win a share of a million dollars worth of prizes.

More details on Resorts World Sentosa’s Summer of Treasures are available on the official website.
