The celebratory opening event was attended by Marriott associates and senior leaders, including David Marriott, Chairman of the Board, and Rajeev Menon, President for Asia Pacific excluding China, alongside resort owner Nilesh Gadhiya and members of the Gadhiya family. The occasion marked both a corporate milestone and the debut of a new luxury retreat set near one of India’s most iconic wildlife destinations.

Located a short drive from Ranthambore National Park, the JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort & Spa offers a luxury escape designed for nature-inspired experiences. The property features 127 accommodations, including private villas, suites and guestrooms, all thoughtfully designed to reflect the surrounding landscape. Guests can enjoy a range of curated dining experiences on site, from contemporary Indian cuisine and regional specialties to botanical-inspired cocktails crafted with local influences.

The opening further strengthens the JW Marriott brand portfolio, which now includes more than 130 properties globally. Marriott International’s broader luxury portfolio spans seven brands and nearly 700 properties across 74 countries and territories, underscoring the company’s continued expansion in high-end travel experiences worldwide.

In recent months, Marriott has also expanded across multiple segments and regions with several notable openings. These include The St. Regis Budapest in Hungary, which introduced the brand’s signature luxury within the historic Klotild Palace; The Westin Playa Vallarta, an all-inclusive resort in Mexico marking Westin’s entry into the all-inclusive segment; Artik Suzhou, Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy in Greater China, which blends modern design with local heritage in Suzhou; and StudioRes by Marriott Greensboro Airport in the United States, a modular-built extended stay property developed to meet evolving guest needs.
