Vietjet Air has announced a new direct air service connecting Nha Trang and Singapore, further strengthening air connectivity between Vietnam and one of Asia’s key aviation and business hubs.
The announcement was made at the Vietnam Singapore Tech Connect Forum 2026 on 29 May in the presence of Vietnam’s General Secretary and President To Lam, along with senior leaders from both Vietnam and Singapore. The new route underscores Vietjet’s continued expansion of its regional network linking major cities across Southeast Asia.
The Nha Trang to Singapore service is scheduled to commence on 11 December 2026, operating four round trip flights weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The new route is expected to improve travel convenience for both leisure and business travellers while also boosting access to Nha Trang, one of Vietnam’s most popular coastal destinations.
Known for its clear waters, scenic beaches, diverse marine life and year round tropical climate, Nha Trang has long been a favourite for international tourists seeking a beach getaway. The city is also recognised for its growing hospitality, entertainment and resort offerings, making it a key destination in Vietnam’s tourism strategy.
This latest route builds on Vietjet’s earlier expansion efforts, including the Singapore to Phu Quoc service announced in March 2025 during a state visit by Vietnamese leadership. With the addition of Nha Trang, Vietjet continues to expand its footprint in Singapore, strengthening connectivity between the two countries.
Since launching its first Singapore Vietnam route in 2014, Vietjet has carried more than 3.8 million passengers across over 22,000 flights. The airline currently operates more than 100 weekly flights connecting Singapore with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Phu Quoc, supporting rising travel demand from tourists, residents and the business community.
