Thomson Fertility Opens New Novena Centre at United Square to Expand Access to Fertility Care in Singapore

Thomson Fertility Singapore has opened a new centre at United Square in Novena, expanding access to fertility services and bringing advanced clinical, embryology, and laboratory capabilities closer to couples seeking fertility support in Singapore.

Located within the Novena medical precinct, the new Thomson Fertility Singapore centre offers fertility assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services supported by a multidisciplinary team of fertility specialists, embryologists, and nurses. The facility marks the brand’s second centre in Singapore and continues its long-standing focus on reproductive healthcare.

The new centre is led by Dr Tan Heng Hao, Senior Consultant Fertility Specialist and Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. Dr Tan specialises in managing complex fertility cases, including IVF, reconstructive fallopian tube surgery, tubal reversal, endometriosis treatment, and advanced laparoscopic surgery.

To support fertility treatment and embryo development, the centre is equipped with a comprehensive suite of embryology and laboratory technologies. These include time-lapse imaging, blastocyst culture, AI-assisted embryo development assessment, preimplantation genetic testing, advanced sperm selection, IMSI, spindle imaging, and DNA fragmentation testing.

The laboratory also incorporates systems designed to maintain a stable environment for eggs, sperm, and embryos. These include a closed handling system, Cryotec vitrification and warming technology, as well as round-the-clock monitoring of temperature, gas, and electrical systems.

Established in 1987, Thomson Fertility Centre was Singapore’s first private IVF centre located within a private hospital. Backed by almost four decades of experience, its team of fertility doctors and embryologists has supported thousands of couples on their parenthood journey.

Thomson Fertility Singapore (Novena) is located at United Square Shopping Mall, #01-18 to 28, 101 Thomson Road, Singapore 307591. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:30pm. The centre is closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.
