Crunchyroll is set to transform Bangkok into a major anime fan destination this May as it brings an immersive lineup of experiences, special guest appearances, and interactive fan activities to Anime Festival Asia Thailand 2026 on 30 to 31 May 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
Designed as a vibrant fan hub, Crunchyroll’s booth will offer anime lovers a mix of hands-on activities, curated viewing zones, and exclusive content celebrating Ani-May. Visitors can explore immersive installations inspired by hit series, take part in interactive challenges, and enjoy opportunities to connect with the global anime community in person.
A major highlight is a dedicated Chainsaw Man experience that brings fans into the world of the hit series. The activation includes The Crossroads Café inspired photo space, designed to reflect a more grounded side of the story, as well as a life-sized Pochita mascot making its debut appearance in Thailand. Fans attending the meet-and-greet will also receive an exclusive Pochita sticker sheet, adding to the collectible experience. Ahead of the event, Chainsaw Man The Movie Reze Arc will also be available to stream exclusively on Crunchyroll.
The fan experience continues with a special guest appearance by Kikunosuke Toya, the Japanese voice actor of Denji from Chainsaw Man. Toya will headline an exclusive stage panel and fan meet-and-greet session where he will share behind-the-scenes insights into the character and production process, while engaging directly with fans through live interactions.
As part of Ani-May celebrations, attendees can also take part in a stamp rally featuring anime themed challenges across the booth. Activities include the BLUE LOCK Football Challenge focused on precision and reflexes, the Solo Leveling Fitness Challenge designed to test endurance, and an Attack on Titan doodle wall where fans can showcase their creativity.
A dedicated Thai-subtitled and Thai-dubbed viewing zone will also be available, allowing fans to enjoy a wide selection of anime in a localised and communal setting. The initiative highlights Crunchyroll’s growing focus on accessibility for Thai audiences and its expanding library of regional content.
Fans who complete booth challenges and participate in activities will be eligible for exclusive merchandise, including BLUE LOCK stickers, Solo Leveling stickers, Crunchyroll reusable foldable bags, and Chainsaw Man headbands.
Beyond the convention hall, Crunchyroll will also bring anime into the streets of Bangkok through a citywide out-of-home campaign running from 16 to 31 May 2026. Featuring Chainsaw Man The Movie Reze Arc and other popular titles, the campaign will appear across key central business district locations to build anticipation ahead of the event.
Crunchyroll currently offers more than 500 anime titles in Thailand, including fan favourites and exclusive series such as Liar Game, Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 5, and Ascendance of a Bookworm. The platform also provides over 70 Thai-dubbed titles and more than 300 Thai-subtitled titles, reinforcing its continued expansion of localised anime content across Southeast Asia.
