Razer has introduced the Razer Atlas Pro, a new ultra-thin glass gaming mouse mat that the company says sets a fresh benchmark in both design and performance. Measuring just 1.9mm in total thickness, it is officially the world’s thinnest glass gaming mouse mat.

The launch marks Razer’s latest push to redefine gaming desk setups through precision engineering and minimalist design.
Ultra-Thin Design for a Seamless Setup

At the core of the Atlas Pro is its ultra-slim construction, featuring a 1.1mm tempered glass surface supported by a low-profile rubber base.
By breaking the sub-2mm barrier, Razer aims to create a more natural connection between desk and mouse movement, allowing the surface to sit almost flush with the table.
According to Razer, this design improves:
- Wrist comfort during long gaming sessions
- Ergonomic posture
- Seamless desk integration
- Direct, responsive mouse control
Built for Competitive Performance
While the Atlas Pro focuses on aesthetics and thinness, Razer says it is also designed for high-performance competitive gaming.
The tempered glass surface delivers a low-friction glide, ideal for fast-paced genres such as FPS titles and aim-training scenarios.
To ensure accuracy, the mouse mat includes a 2 μm micro-etched texture, developed in collaboration with Razer’s sensor technology partner. This allows for consistent tracking across different sensitivity settings and play styles.
Durability Without Compromise
Despite its ultra-thin profile, the Atlas Pro is engineered for durability.
Key durability features include:
- 9H hardness rating (scratch resistance against keys, coins, and pens)
- Tempered glass construction
- Protective coating for easy cleaning
Razer says the surface is designed for everyday use while maintaining long-term performance and clarity.
Refined Design and Larger Surface Area
The Atlas Pro also introduces several design enhancements aimed at competitive gamers and minimalist setups.
These include:
- CNC-milled rounded edges for wrist comfort
- 500 x 400 mm surface area (11% larger than standard designs)
- Full-coverage anti-slip rubber base for stability
Together, these refinements aim to support wide mouse movements while keeping the mat firmly in place during intense gameplay.
Razer’s Push to Redefine Glass Mouse Mats
Razer first entered the category in 2023 with its original Atlas mouse mat, which introduced a full-coverage rubber base design for improved stability and reduced noise.
With the Atlas Pro, the company says it is moving beyond incremental improvements in the category, instead focusing on a more meaningful leap in thinness and usability.
