myFirst Unveils Insta Lux Instant Camera in Singapore, Combining Smart Tech with Long-Lasting Prints

Homegrown kids tech brand myFirst has launched its most advanced instant camera yet in Singapore, the myFirst Camera Insta Lux, bringing together instant photography and high-quality printing for families and young creators.

First introduced at CES 2026, the Insta Lux aims to redefine instant cameras by addressing a common trade-off: convenience versus print quality. With its latest innovation, myFirst delivers both.

Instant Prints, Now More Durable and Vibrant

Unlike traditional instant cameras that rely on light-sensitive film, the Insta Lux uses dye-sublimation printing technology. This method applies heat to transfer colour onto photo paper in multiple layers, finishing each print with a protective coating.

The result is vibrant, high-resolution photos that are waterproof, fingerprint-resistant, and designed to last for years, making them ideal for scrapbooks, keepsakes, or everyday display.

Smart Features for Effortless Photography

Equipped with a 5MP camera and Smart Exposure technology, the Insta Lux automatically adjusts to different lighting conditions, allowing users to capture clear and balanced shots without manual settings.

The device also includes built-in creative frames and filters, adding a fun and personalised touch to every photo. A 2.8-inch IPS colour screen allows users to preview images before printing, helping to minimise wasted prints.

For added flexibility, the camera features dual lenses, including a selfie lens, along with an ergonomic shutter button and integrated LED flash for easier handling and improved photo quality.

Seamless Connectivity with Mobile Integration

With built-in Wi-Fi, the Insta Lux connects to the myFirst Circle app, enabling users to print photos directly from their smartphone gallery. This allows families to turn previously captured digital memories into physical prints instantly.

Designed for Everyday Moments

Retailing at S$239, the Insta Lux is designed to be simple and accessible, making it easy for children and families to capture moments, from birthday parties to casual outings, and transform them into tangible keepsakes.

Refill cartridges are priced at S$19.90 for up to 20 prints, averaging around S$1 per photo. The cartridge system is designed for quick and easy replacement, ensuring uninterrupted use.

Availability and Launch Offers

The myFirst Camera Insta Lux is available in Cotton Candy Mix and Grey, and can be purchased via the myFirst digital store, the Suntec Experience Store, and POPULAR Bookstores locations nationwide.

To mark the launch, POPULAR Bookstores members can enjoy a special in-store price of S$219 for the camera, while refill films are offered at S$17.90 for a limited time.
