AIA HYROX Singapore made history from 3 to 5 April 2026, hosting its largest and most ambitious edition yet at the iconic Singapore National Stadium. The event attracted an impressive 14,500 athletes from across Asia and around the world, marking a major milestone as Singapore’s first-ever three-day HYROX event.
The energy peaked on Friday night during the debut of the Friday Nights Relays, held in a stadium setting for the first time. The excitement continued throughout the weekend as athletes across all divisions pushed through HYROX’s signature combination of functional workouts and endurance running.
This year’s expanded three-day format introduced additional race slots across the Men’s and Women’s Open divisions, as well as the Adaptive category, which continues to see rising participation from athletes with permanent functional impairments.
The extra day provided greater flexibility for participants to choose their race timing, travel more comfortably, and recover better, reflecting HYROX’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the athlete experience.
The stadium buzzed with camaraderie as first-timers, elite competitors, and enthusiastic supporters cheered one another through each gruelling workout zone and run lap.
With Singapore’s fifth edition successfully wrapped, the HYROX APAC season is now in full swing. Upcoming events are set to take place in Brisbane, Hong Kong, Incheon, and, for the first time, Jakarta, bringing HYROX’s global reach to over 31 countries.
For fans and athletes who missed out this round, HYROX has confirmed it will return to Singapore later this year.
