This June school break, families can trade screens for adventure as Amara Sanctuary Sentosa partners with outdoor education experts Into The Wild to introduce the Sentosa Survival Camp & Retreat, a unique staycation experience that combines resort comfort with hands-on outdoor exploration.
Set amid the hotel’s restored colonial-era barracks and lush grounds, the two-day survival camp invites young adventurers aged four to twelve to discover the thrill of the outdoors while building confidence, resilience, and teamwork in a safe, guided environment.
The programme reflects a shared vision between the resort and Into The Wild: the most memorable family holidays are rooted in real, purposeful experiences. By combining a relaxing resort stay with guided outdoor activities, the camp encourages children to reconnect with nature, develop curiosity, and gain practical survival skills, all while families enjoy quality time together.
Bookings open from 23 March 2026, with the camp taking place on 25–26 June 2026. The historic grounds of Amara Sanctuary Sentosa will be transformed into an interactive outdoor classroom, where trained facilitators guide children through confidence-building challenges that extend beyond the weekend.
The survival camp is split into two sessions:
The staycation package starts from $495++ for two adults and one child and includes:
While children embark on their adventure, parents can unwind in the resort’s tranquil surroundings and enjoy 20% off Sanctuary Tearoom’s à la carte menu.
Amara Sanctuary Sentosa’s blend of heritage architecture and lush greenery provides an immersive backdrop for young explorers to experience adventure, history, and nature in one place. With limited spots available and the programme offered on selected dates only, families are encouraged to book early to secure their June school holiday adventure.
