Vietjet Air Expands Southeast Asia Network with New Routes from Da Nang and Nha Trang

Budget airline Vietjet Air has announced two new international routes connecting Vietnam’s popular coastal destinations with key Southeast Asian hubs, further strengthening regional travel connectivity ahead of the summer travel season.

The new routes will link Da Nang with Jakarta and Nha Trang with Singapore, offering travellers more convenient options to explore Vietnam and neighbouring countries.

New Da Nang–Jakarta Route Launching April 2026

The new direct service between Da Nang and Jakarta will begin on 29 April 2026, operating five round-trip flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The airline will become the first and only carrier to operate a nonstop route between Jakarta and Da Nang, bringing the two vibrant Southeast Asian destinations just a few hours apart.

With this addition, Vietjet will operate five routes connecting Vietnam and Indonesia, complementing its existing services between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi with destinations such as Bali and Jakarta.

Nha Trang–Singapore Route Starting June 2026

Vietjet will also launch a new direct service between Nha Trang and Singapore beginning 1 June 2026. The route will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The daytime flight schedule allows travellers to maximise their travel time, whether flying from Singapore to Vietnam’s beach destination or vice versa.

The new route will increase Vietjet’s Singapore–Vietnam connections to five services, joining its existing flights linking Singapore with Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Phu Quoc, and Da Nang.

Promotional Launch Fares

To celebrate the launch of the new routes, Vietjet is offering promotional tickets starting from USD0 (excluding taxes and fees) across its network connecting Vietnam, Singapore, and Indonesia.

Passengers booking Eco-class tickets will receive 20kg of complimentary checked baggage, while SkyBoss fares will be available with an instant 20% discount.

The promotion runs from 16 March to 20 March 2026 via the Vietjet website and mobile app, for travel between 1 April 2026 and 31 March 2027.

Strengthening Regional Tourism and Connectivity

The new services aim to boost tourism and business travel between Vietnam and two major Southeast Asian cities.

Both Da Nang and Nha Trang are among Vietnam’s most popular coastal destinations, known for their scenic beaches, pleasant climate, and distinctive cuisine. Meanwhile, Jakarta offers a vibrant multicultural metropolis, while Singapore serves as a key aviation hub with extensive international connections.

Onboard, passengers can enjoy freshly prepared Vietnamese dishes such as pho, banh mi, and Vietnamese iced milk coffee, served by Vietjet’s cabin crew on its modern fleet.
