VivoCity is marking a major milestone in 2026 as it celebrates its 20th anniversary with a year-long programme of experiences, rewards, and community initiatives. Titled “VC20: Celebrating 20 Years, for Everyone,” the celebration honours two decades of shared memories with shoppers, tenants, and the wider community.

Since opening its doors in October 2006, VivoCity has grown into one of Singapore’s most vibrant lifestyle destinations. Located at the gateway to Sentosa, the mall spans over one million square feet and houses more than 350 retailers. Today, it attracts over 40 million visitors annually and remains a popular gathering spot where generations of Singaporeans come together to shop, dine, play, and spend time with loved ones.
Over the past two decades, the mall has hosted countless everyday moments, from family outings and birthday celebrations to weekend meetups and first dates, cementing its place within Singapore’s retail and lifestyle scene.
A Year of Celebrations Begins

To mark the milestone, VivoCity will roll out VC20, a series of community-driven activities, creative collaborations, and shopper rewards throughout 2026.
The festivities begin with the VC20 Launch Campaign in March 2026, setting the tone for a full year of activations that will culminate in a special anniversary celebration in October 2026, the same month VivoCity first opened 20 years ago.
A Symbol of Connection
As part of the anniversary celebrations, VivoCity has unveiled a commemorative VC20 emblem that reflects the mall’s 20-year journey and continued evolution as a space where people come together.
Inspired by the spirit of connection and celebration, the emblem embodies VivoCity’s brand promise of “A World for All,” highlighting the diverse communities, experiences, and memories that have shaped the destination over the years.
Championing Inclusive Creativity

A key highlight of the VC20 celebrations is a year-long Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative launched by VivoCity and Mapletree Investments in collaboration with The Art Faculty, a social enterprise by the Autism Resource Centre Singapore that supports differently abled artists.
Through the partnership, five artists from The Art Faculty will create illustrations inspired by VivoCity’s iconic architecture and anniversary celebrations. These artworks will be unveiled in April 2026 as a large collage installation at the mall, allowing shoppers to explore the artists’ creative journeys.
Selected designs will also be transformed into limited-edition merchandise and functional lifestyle items released progressively throughout the year. These items will be available for purchase or redemption by VivoRewards members, with proceeds contributing to donations that support The Art Faculty’s artists and programmes.
Community Activities for All
The anniversary programme will kick off with the VC20 Launch Campaign – “Celebrating 20, Celebrating You,” running from 13 March to 19 April 2026. During this period, shoppers can enjoy family-friendly activities, exclusive rewards, and special member perks across the mall.
One of the highlights is “Celebrate 20 In Colours,” where members of VivoCity’s Kids Club will create abstract swirl artworks using acrylic paints. Each piece will form part of a larger anniversary installation symbolising the people and shared moments that have shaped VivoCity over the years. The completed installation will be displayed within the mall and is expected to become a vibrant photo spot for visitors.
Discover VivoCity Through Interactive Experiences
Starting in April 2026, visitors can also take part in The VC20 Stamp Quest, an interactive activity encouraging shoppers to explore different areas of the mall while uncovering fun facts about its 20-year journey.
Participants will collect stamps at various stations, gradually adding colour to a line illustration until the final artwork is revealed, turning the activity into a playful way to rediscover VivoCity while celebrating its heritage.
Exclusive Rewards and Monthly Deals
Throughout the anniversary year, shoppers can look forward to special rewards and shopping perks designed to celebrate the milestone with the community.
One highlight is the VC20 “Flash20” Deals, where limited-time promotions will be released on the 20th of every month via the VivoRewards app. Redemptions will start from just 200 VRPoints.
The app will also introduce a new gamification feature, allowing users to participate in digital games and challenges to win prizes, rewards, and additional VRPoints.
New Digital Gifting Features
From April 2026, VivoCity will further enhance the shopping experience through new features on the VivoRewards mobile app. Shoppers will soon be able to purchase VivoCity eVouchers directly through the app, making it easier to pre-purchase vouchers for future shopping trips.
A new eGifting feature will also allow users to instantly send digital eVouchers to friends and family, offering a convenient way to share gifts and celebrate special occasions.
