Jewel Changi Airport has capped off a strong year in retail and dining with the launch of its first-ever Jewel Fans’ Favourites Awards, recognising the concepts most loved by both local shoppers and international travellers.
Following a month-long voting campaign that drew thousands of votes, the awards spotlight the brands that have resonated most with visitors. The results reflect Jewel’s unique positioning as a destination where “the World meets Singapore, and Singapore meets the World,” celebrating both global icons and homegrown favourites.
Singapore Brands Shine Across Categories
Local brands claimed five of the 14 award categories, underscoring the strong appeal of Singapore names among Jewel’s visitors. Nearly half of Jewel’s 260 tenants are homegrown brands, reinforcing its role as a platform for local businesses to reach both residents and a global audience.
Botanical gelato boutique Birds of Paradise emerged as a standout, securing a double win in the ‘Homegrown Brand (F&B)’ and ‘Order & Go’ categories. Fashion label Charles & Keith, which operates a flagship store at Jewel, was voted favourite ‘Homegrown Brand (Retail)’.
Meanwhile, Fish & Co., which opened at Jewel in May 2025, was named ‘F&B Newcomer’ of the Year, highlighting its enduring popularity among diners.
Expanding Brands Drive Momentum
Sportswear giant adidas clinched the ‘Athleisure’ award and was also recognised for ‘New Concept’ experiences. The recognition follows the brand’s September 2025 expansion, which saw its retail space triple into a larger immersive duplex store, a strong vote of confidence in Jewel as a retail hub.
Heritage favourite Ya Kun Kaya Toast topped the ‘Local/Regional Delights’ category. After expanding its footprint in October 2025 to meet growing demand, Ya Kun continues to be a go-to spot for visitors seeking authentic local flavours.
Global Icons and Regional Concepts Recognised
Jewel’s diverse culinary landscape was also reflected in the winners. Bornean restaurant KANTIN was voted best ‘In-Store Dining Experience’, praised for its immersive rainforest-inspired setting and signatures such as Sarawak Laksa and Rainforest Fried Rice.
Major international dining brands were also fan favourites, with Din Tai Fung winning ‘Chinese Food’, Sushiro taking the ‘Japanese/Korean Food’ category, and McDonald’s named top choice for ‘Western Food’.
In retail, visitors voted Apple as favourite in ‘Lifestyle & Travel’, Uniqlo in ‘Fashion & Accessories’, and Don Don Donki in ‘Food Retail’.
A Record Year for Jewel
The awards cap off a vibrant 2025 for Jewel, which recorded over 81 million visitors, matching its 2024 performance. During the year, the destination welcomed 73 new stores, including 21 first-in-Singapore concepts such as Gwangjang GAON, sportswear brand On, and The Coach Restaurant.
Jewel also hosted around 70 event pop-ups and recently welcomed new Singapore debuts including Lotteria and The Gundam Base, reinforcing its status as a dynamic lifestyle destination.
Exclusive Rewards for Shoppers

To celebrate the winning brands, shoppers who spend a minimum of S$30 in a single receipt at any of the 12 award-winning stores can redeem exclusive rewards. These include a S$10 Jewel Gift Voucher, a S$5 Attractions Voucher, and a limited-edition reusable bag designed by youths from Metta Welfare Association.
Redemptions are available from 27 February to 12 March 2026 at the Jewel Level 1 Concierge Counter, while stocks last.
