Swensen’s Launches Halo Raya Ice Cream Cake for Hari Raya 2026

Swensen’s is welcoming the festive season with a new dessert designed to sweeten Iftar dinners and Hari Raya gatherings across Singapore. The Halo Raya Ice Cream Cake is priced at $59 for a 600g serving and is available from now until 31 March 2026.

This uniquely Singapore festive treat is shaped like a crown and features a golden core of sweet and savoury Salted Gula Melaka ice cream. The rich centre is wrapped in a layer of Ondeh Ondeh ice cream, bringing familiar notes of coconut and pandan to the palate.

The cake is finished with a striking green chocolate ganache and a coating of fresh coconut flakes.

This specific shade of green is symbolic, representing the traditional green packets given to children as well as themes of charity, prosperity, renewal, hope for paradise, and good fortune after the month of Ramadan.

Beyond its visual appeal, the cake introduces an indulgent crunch through a layer of white chocolate packed with Kunafa. These thin and crisp strands of phyllo dough provide a contrast to the creamy interior, while refreshing shreds of coconut add a beautiful tropical touch.

Those interested in adding this centrepiece to their celebrations can place their orders directly through the official Swensen’s online store.
