Under the theme “Grab a Coke & Huat Together This New Year”, the campaign blends time-honoured traditions with contemporary creativity, connecting tradition-lovers and Gen Z alike in a shared celebration of reunion, prosperity, and joy.

A Cross-Border Anthem to Spark Celebration

At the heart of this year’s campaign is the original Coca-Cola Chinese New Year anthem, 可口可樂,共創好年”. The track features celebrated talents 3P from Malaysia and Singapore’s Ma Yi Duo, symbolising unity across borders through the universal language of music.

The collaboration aims to ignite a wave of festive energy across the region. 3P kicked off the celebrations with a live performance at The Starhill in Kuala Lumpur on 20 January, alongside the launch of a dance challenge designed to get fans moving and sharing their CNY spirit online.

A Bold New Festive Design System

Complementing the anthem is a refreshed Chinese New Year visual identity developed in partnership with global brand design consultancy Elmwood. Spanning cans, packaging, retail spaces, and digital platforms across the Asia-Pacific region, the new design system reflects Coca-Cola’s enduring message of togetherness and optimism.

Drawing inspiration from fireworks, a global symbol of renewal and reunion, the design fuses celebratory bursts with Coca-Cola’s signature effervescence. These sparkling bubbles are reimagined through the lens of Asian craftsmanship, forming a distinctive CNY icon layered with blessing messages and festive motifs.

The intricate detailing pays homage to Asia’s rich textile traditions, incorporating elements inspired by Chinese embroidery and Peranakan beadwork. These textures are woven into a modern and inclusive aesthetic that celebrates the region’s cultural diversity and artistry.

Anchoring the design are auspicious golden horses in motion, symbolising strength, prosperity, and forward momentum for the year ahead. Surrounding them are peach and apricot blossoms, along with lucky red envelopes, timeless emblems of family unity and good fortune.

Limited-edition Coca-Cola cans featuring the new festive design are now available in Singapore and Malaysia, while stocks last, offering consumers a collectible keepsake to mark the celebrations.

Nationwide Promotions and Festive Roadshows

Beyond the packaging, Coca-Cola is rolling out exclusive promotions and nationwide roadshows, giving consumers more ways to celebrate with friends and family.

Immersive Festive Experiences in KL and Singapore

The celebrations extend to experiential activations in the heart of both cities. In Kuala Lumpur, Coca-Cola’s festive showcase takes place at The Starhill from 16 to 25 January. In Singapore, the activation will be held along Orchard Road, outside Mandarin Gallery, from 6 to 15 February.

Visitors can immerse themselves in a range of activities, from trying their hand at traditional calligraphy and capturing memories at themed photobooths, to exploring zodiac fortune readings and even creating their own rendition of the Chinese New Year anthem.
