From mythical animatronic horses and stunning floral displays to exclusive shopping perks and the first-ever Lunar New Year bazaar at Jewel, the airport precinct is transforming into a festive playground filled with colour, culture and prosperity-themed cheer.

Mythical Horses and Blooming Landscapes Take Centre Stage

At Jewel’s Forest Valley, a pair of mythical animatronic horses headline the celebrations in honour of the 2026 zodiac. Framed by an elegant floral arch, the lifelike horses move in harmony with kinetic floral elements, creating a dynamic centrepiece that blends technology and tradition. The display runs until 3 March 2026.

Over at the Petal Garden in Jewel’s Canopy Park (Level 5), visitors can stroll through a picturesque spring landscape filled with blooming cherry blossoms and vibrant seasonal flowers.

Travellers can also unlock exclusive perks at Jewel, including S$88 off or 8% savings on STARLUX Airlines flights to Taiwan. Redemption is simple: scan the QR codes on greeting cards tucked among Kumquat plants at Jewel’s Level 2 main entrance and the Level 3 link bridges to Terminals 2 and 3.

Across Changi Airport Terminals 1, 2 and 3, 10 locations will showcase striking Fire Horse sculptures and elaborate horticultural displays from 5 February to 2 March 2026. Featuring motifs of gold ingots and Chinese coins, the installations symbolise strength, vitality and prosperity. A standout floral highlight is the flame-shaped Plume Celosia, with its vivid red and yellow blooms representing fiery energy and new beginnings.

Extended Hours and New Festive Experiences

To accommodate the surge in Lunar New Year travel, Changi Lounge at Jewel (Level 1) will operate 24 hours daily from 17 February (6am) to 4 March (10pm). During this period, lounge guests can enjoy an upgraded buffet spread featuring festive Asian delicacies.

The iconic Jewel Rain Vortex will extend its operating hours by two hours until midnight from 1 February to 3 March. The popular Light & Music Showcase continues nightly at 8pm and 9pm, with an additional 10pm show from Fridays to Sundays, as well as on the eve of and during public holidays.

Jewel will also host its first-ever Lunar New Year-themed bazaar at Cloud9 Piazza (Level 5) from 5 to 12 February 2026. Local businesses will offer festive crafts, decorative items and plants, while weekend workshops, including batik printing, floral arrangement and pressed flower art, will be available from S$10 per participant.

Adding a unique touch to the celebrations, visitors who purchase from Changi Airport Group’s “HUATticulture” plant booth on 7 and 8 February (1pm to 3pm) can join guided sessions to interact with miniature therapy horses and learn about their calming benefits, subject to availability.

Traditional performances will also light up Jewel from 16 to 18 February. Lion Dance performances will take place at 5:38pm on Lunar New Year’s Eve and at 12:38pm on the first two days of the New Year. LED Dragon Dance performances will follow at 7:38pm each evening.

Food lovers can indulge in special Lunar New Year menus across Changi Airport and Jewel until 3 March.

Shoppers who spend a minimum of S$100 in a single receipt at participating F&B outlets in Changi’s public areas (Terminals 1 to 4) and pay via Mastercard, including through Changi Pay, will receive S$10 in Changi Shop & Dine e-Vouchers.

Reunion dining options abound, including Terrace Chinese Kitchen (T1), Peach Garden and A-Roy Thai (T2), and Swensen’s, Paradise Dynasty and Central Thai (T3). Festive twists on familiar favourites are also available at Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Chengdu Bowl, Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart and Burger King.

At Jewel, diners can enjoy reunion set menus and takeaway specialties such as Pen Cai and Yu Sheng at Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck and JUMBO Seafood. Those seeking a different flavour can opt for a Lunar New Year Korean set at Gwangjang GAON. New dining additions including Elfuego by COLLIN’S, Tutto by Da Paolo and Singapore’s first Lotteria will remain open throughout the festive season.
