adidas, in collaboration with the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), has officially unveiled the Official Match Ball for the ASEAN Hyundai Cup 2026, building anticipation for one of Southeast Asia’s most prestigious football tournaments.

Marking the tournament’s 30th anniversary, the newly revealed match ball pays tribute to the competition’s legacy while embracing a modern performance-driven design. The ball features a crisp white base with Teamgeist-inspired panel blocking, accented with a bold navy and orange colour palette that reflects ASEAN United FC: the platform uniting ASEAN’s four premier football tournaments, including the Hyundai Cup 2026.
Detailed graphics, including the tournament’s official logo and the ASEAN United FC insignia, sit prominently across adidas’ signature ‘Triangle’ grain surface, blending visual identity with high-performance engineering.
Built for Elite Performance

Certified with FIFA Quality Pro standards, the Official Match Ball is designed to deliver consistent performance throughout the tournament. Its smooth 32-panel construction ensures predictable flight and enhanced ball control, while advanced materials help the ball retain its shape and resist water absorption in all weather conditions.
Inside, layered foam and a reinforced bladder provide long-lasting air retention and firmness, ensuring reliable performance across every match. Weighing between 430 and 440 grams in Size 5, the ball meets professional specifications and is suitable for use on firm ground, artificial grass, hard ground, and turf, delivering consistency across all playing surfaces.
Strengthening Football Across ASEAN
adidas’ partnership with ASEAN United FC extends beyond the match ball. As the Official Performance Partner, adidas also supplies referee kits and ball boy apparel across ASEAN’s four flagship competitions, the ASEAN Hyundai Cup, ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup, ASEAN Women’s MSIG Serenity Cup, and the ASEAN U-23 Championship.
The partnership reflects adidas’ broader commitment to nurturing football development across Southeast Asia, reinforcing its role as a leading performance brand supporting regional sporting excellence.
Celebrating 30 Years of ASEAN Football
Commenting on the launch, Fanny Lanctot, Senior Brand Director of adidas Southeast Asia, said the new match ball commemorates a significant milestone for the tournament while symbolising adidas’ dedication to football in the region.
The ASEAN Hyundai Cup 2026 Official Match Ball is set to launch in May 2026, with more details to be revealed ahead of the tournament kick-off on 24 July 2026.
