TikTok LIVE continues to reshape how creators and communities connect in real time, with 2025 marking a milestone year for the platform’s rapidly expanding LIVE ecosystem. Across Southeast Asia, the Caucasus and Central Asia, more than 100 million creators went LIVE in 2025 alone—representing a 77 per cent year-on-year increase and underscoring the growing influence of LIVE as a driver of creativity, commerce and community.
This surge in participation has fuelled the growth of the LIVE economy while deepening audience engagement. Over the year, communities generated more than 134 billion comments, while Multi-Guest LIVE sessions welcomed 1.1 billion guests, highlighting the increasingly interactive and collaborative nature of TikTok LIVE.
The momentum culminated in TikTok LIVE Fest 2025, a global online competition that attracted more than 5 million participants worldwide. The initiative concluded with a regional celebration held in Phuket, Thailand, bringing together over 200 top creators from across the region to recognise outstanding talent and celebrate the diversity of the LIVE community.
Among the standout winners was Singapore-based creator Hu Shu Hui (@shuhui.singapore), who emerged as Top 1 Talent in the Music segment. Known for her musical abilities and warm, engaging on-screen presence, Shu Hui’s win reflects how local creators are leveraging TikTok LIVE to reach regional and global audiences. Her success underscores the platform’s ability to transform authentic, real-time interactions into meaningful creative and career opportunities.
