Dyson has unveiled the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene, a new wet and dry floor cleaner engineered to deliver maximum hygiene with minimal effort. Designed to handle both everyday dust and wet spills in a single pass, the latest model combines powerful cleaning performance with a lightweight, highly manoeuvrable design, offering a streak-free finish on hard floors.
Weighing just 3.82kg and featuring an ultra-slim profile of 113mm when laid flat, the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene is Dyson’s lightest in-hand wet and dry cleaner to date. Its compact build allows users to clean easily under low furniture and right up to edges, ensuring comprehensive coverage throughout the home.
At the core of the Clean+Wash Hygiene is Dyson’s most absorbent self-cleaning microfibre roller, designed to remove dust, debris, hair and wet messes simultaneously, eliminating the need to vacuum before washing hard floors. The ultra-dense roller features 84,000 microfibre filaments per cm² and spins at 250 RPM, enabling it to lift stubborn stains, syrupy spills and dried-on residue with ease.
Embedded with 1,400 nylon bristles, the roller enhances hair pick-up while powerful capillary action draws in waste liquid, delivering a consistently streak-free floor finish. A 12-point hydration system continuously delivers fresh water to the roller, ensuring that every section of the floor is cleaned with clean water, not redistributed dirt.
To maintain hygiene during and after use, the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene is equipped with an integrated self-cleaning mechanism. An optimised sprung mangle removes debris and dirty water from the roller, while an anti-tangle comb detangles hair as it is collected, preventing wrapping and clogging.
After cleaning, a dedicated self-cleaning mode flushes the entire system with clean water before drying the roller using 85°C hot air, helping to prevent bacterial growth and odour build-up. This ensures the machine remains clean and ready for the next use.
Unlike conventional wet and dry cleaners, the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene features a filter-free design, removing the need for unhygienic filters that can trap dirt, harbour bacteria and emit odours. By separating wet and dry debris at the cleaner head, the system avoids sludge build-up, blockages and performance decline, delivering consistent cleaning power over time.
With an in-hand weight of just 683g, the cleaner is easy to manoeuvre across rooms and around furniture. Its three-sided edge cleaning capability ensures effective removal of dirt and spills along walls and skirting boards, while maintaining full power even when lying flat under low-clearance spaces.
Additional features include four adjustable hydration settings, including a Boost mode, allowing users to tailor cleaning intensity based on floor type and mess level. The optimised hydration system also enables the cleaner to cover up to 350 square metres of flooring, around 20 per cent more than its predecessor, on a 750ml clean water tank.
To complement the new cleaner, Dyson has also introduced the Dyson 02 Probiotic Hard Floor Cleaning Solution. Formulated with billions of active enzymes, the non-foaming, non-toxic solution works at a microscopic level to lift dirt and grime while being gentle on floors and safe for both pets and children. Used together with the Clean+Wash Hygiene, it delivers deeper and longer-lasting cleans.
The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene will be available direct from Dyson from 19 January 2026, priced at S$729.
