LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is welcoming the Year of the Horse with a vibrant, family-friendly Lunar New Year celebration that blends cultural traditions with LEGO creativity. Running from 22 January to 22 February 2026, the month-long festivities invite guests to experience a festive transformation inspired by the theme “Garden of Prosperity”.
Throughout the resort, glowing red lanterns, blooming cherry blossoms and immersive LEGO installations set the stage for the season. Taking centre stage is a striking 2.4-metre LEGO Horse centrepiece, symbolising strength, renewal and good fortune. Inspired by the LEGO 40779 Year of the Horse Chinese Zodiac Limited Edition set, the majestic build features an auspicious scroll of blessings and serves as a must-visit photo spot for families and LEGO fans.
Interactive Festive Fun for All Ages
At the heart of the celebration is a hands-on adventure designed to encourage families to build, play and prosper together. Guests can collect an activity card and explore the park while completing creative challenges that unlock the magic of the “Garden of Prosperity”.
Festive activities include Build-A-Horse sessions where guests create their own symbol of energy and courage, LEGO Orange Tree making that allows participants to stack prosperity and happiness into a take-home creation, and a LEGO Chinese Calligraphy Mural that blends culture with brick-built artistry. Classic favourites such as Minifigure Trading also return, while the LEGO Horse Post & Win activity rewards guests who snap photos with the centrepiece with chances to win weekly prizes.
Spring Festival Spectacular Brings Traditions to Life
The celebrations reach a high point from 17 to 22 February 2026 with the Spring Festival Spectacular, a dynamic showcase of Lunar New Year traditions presented in LEGO style. During this period, guests can enjoy a rich lineup of cultural performances, including lion dance blessings with acrobatic high pole stunts, dragon dance performances, stilt-walking acrobats, oriental live music, Chinese face-changing acts and ancient drum shows.
Daily live performances throughout the celebration add to the festive atmosphere, with shows such as Brick of Prosperity (Opening Show), Lunar Beats Spectacular, and Finale of Fortune (Farewell Show), each celebrating unity, joy and new beginnings through music, colour and interactive moments.
Fortune Fest Rewards and Festive Prizes
Good fortune continues with Fortune Fest, taking place from 17 to 22 February 2026. Guests who spend RM188 or more in a single receipt at participating retail or food and beverage outlets can stand a chance to win LEGO sets worth up to RM800, with total prizes valued at RM10,000.
