[Promo Alert] Gelatissimo Marks 20 Sweet Years at Shaw Centre with New Flavour and Free Scoops

Gelatissimo is celebrating 20 years of scooping joy at its flagship Shaw Centre outlet, marking a significant milestone for the Australian artisanal gelato brand in Singapore. The Shaw Centre store first opened on 16 December 2005 and has since become a familiar fixture along Orchard Road, serving more than 32 handcrafted gelato flavours made fresh in store daily. It is one of the first premium gelato brands in Singapore and I still remember the excitment when it first opened.

Over the past two decades, Gelatissimo Shaw Centre has grown into a gathering place for families and friends, creating shared memories in the heart of the city.

From this original location, the brand has expanded its presence across Singapore with additional outlets at i12 Katong, Jewel Changi Airport, Singapore Flyer and Sentosa, each offering freshly churned gelato to both locals and visitors.

While rooted in its Australian heritage, Gelatissimo has embraced Singapore’s diverse food culture by introducing local inspired flavours such as Mandarin, Durian, Ondeh Ondeh and Mango Sticky Rice. These sit alongside gluten free, dairy free and reduced sugar options, reinforcing the brand’s focus on quality, inclusivity and innovation.

All gelato at Gelatissimo is crafted using premium Australian ingredients combined with locally sourced produce, drawing on traditional Italian techniques with a distinctly Singaporean touch.

20th Anniversary Promotion

To mark its 20th anniversary, Gelatissimo will launch a limited edition Mango Pomelo gelato and host a birthday celebration at the Shaw Centre store on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

As part of the one day celebration, 100 free scoops will be given away, followed by three dollar scoops available throughout the day exclusively at the Shaw Centre outlet.

In addition, five lucky Club Gelato members across all Gelatissimo stores will stand a chance to win gelato for a year, valued at 5 per winner.

Customers who scan their loyalty app with a purchase made between January 10 and January 18, 2026 will automatically be entered into the draw.

Membership to Club Gelato is free and customers can sign up in store.

George Lim, Head of Real Estate at Shaw House, shared that Gelatissimo has been a valued part of the Shaw House community for two decades. He noted that the brand’s commitment to quality, craft and customer experience has contributed to the vibrancy of the Orchard Road precinct, adding that Shaw House looks forward to supporting Gelatissimo’s continued growth.

Beyond its retail stores, Gelatissimo also offers catering and island wide delivery for private parties, corporate events and celebrations. Options range from personalised gelato cups to gelato carts and dessert stations, bringing its artisanal offerings to events across Singapore.
