SHARP has officially unveiled the AQUOS wish5 in Singapore—an ultra-durable, eco-conscious smartphone packed with safety-focused features, smooth performance, and thoughtful design. Engineered for modern users who value peace of mind and sustainability, the AQUOS wish5 is the first smartphone to offer a vibration-activated SOS alert function, combined with AI-powered call protection and military-grade toughness.

A standout feature is the vibration-triggered SOS alert—a smartphone first. Simply shake the device (even while it’s in a bag), and it emits a loud alarm, auto-dials pre-set emergency contacts, and sends out your GPS location in real-time. Whether walking home late or exploring the outdoors, this function provides immediate and discreet help at your fingertips.

Further enhancing security, the AI call assistant screens for fraudulent calls based on analysed scam patterns. It also transcribes voicemails into readable text, making it easier for users to stay informed while avoiding potential threats.
