Bettr Coffee, a pioneer in sustainable specialty coffee, has launched its first sit-down café, Bettr Coffee @ The Foundry, in Singapore’s Prinsep District. Since its inception in 2011, Bettr Coffee has led impact-driven initiatives, earning recognition as Southeast Asia’s first certified B Corporation in 2015. This new opening reinforces its mission of promoting conscious consumption and community engagement.

Situated within The Foundry, Singapore’s latest social impact hub, Bettr Coffee @ The Foundry extends the brand’s commitment to ethical coffee sourcing and sustainability. Beyond expertly brewed coffee, the café features craft cocktails, natural wines, and small plates that emphasize upcycled ingredients and direct-trade partnerships with global farmers.

A Hub for Community and Collaboration

More than just a café, Bettr Coffee @ The Foundry is a gathering space designed for meaningful connections. The café offers a work-friendly environment, a lush backyard garden, and pet-friendly spaces, creating an inviting atmosphere for coffee lovers and changemakers. With 14 years of specialty coffee expertise, Bettr Coffee has trained over 15,000 individuals—including at-risk youth and marginalized communities—through its Bettr Academy, the largest Specialty Coffee Association Premier Training Campus in the region.

Sustainable Innovation in Every Sip

Bettr Coffee’s sustainability ethos shines through in its beverage offerings. Alongside classic espresso drinks, guests can enjoy innovative creations like Prefer, a bean-free decaf alternative made from upcycled bread, soy, and barley. Other highlights include the award-winning Black & Cola, featuring organic Madagascan cola and Bettr’s Eureka blend, and the Coconut Russian, a full-bodied iced white with brown sugar syrup, coconut milk, and cream top.

The cocktail menu embraces sustainable mixology techniques, incorporating fat-washing and upcycled coffee grounds. The Bettr Old Fashioned repurposes spent espresso grounds into a bold, spirit-forward drink, while the White Negroni infuses chrysanthemum, dry vermouth, and wildflower honey for a refreshing twist. The Gin & Teanic elevates the classic gin and tonic with lemongrass and rooibos tea, while the tropical Junglebird features pineapple, lime, and aromatic betel leaf from the café’s own herb garden.

The café also offers a curated selection of natural wines from sustainable winemakers, highlighting minimal intervention and vibrant, unfiltered flavors. Guests can savor the bright notes of 2022 Loveblock Sauvignon Blanc Tee from New Zealand or the smooth richness of 2019 Bledsoe Family Wines ‘JOI’ White Chardonnay from the United States.

Complementing the drinks, the food menu features small plates made with ethically sourced ingredients, including backyard-grown herbs and pesticide-free fruit purees from certified B Corporation supplier Ponthier. Every dish is crafted to reflect Bettr Coffee’s commitment to sustainability and community connection.

The café operates from 9 AM to 5 PM on Mondays and Saturdays, 9 AM to 9 PM from Tuesday to Friday, and is closed on Sundays.
