Coldplay has dropped the highly anticipated music video for ‘Man in The Moon’, a track from the Full Moon Edition of their chart-topping album, Moon Music. Filmed entirely in Singapore, the video captures the city’s iconic landmarks and hidden gems, offering a stunning visual journey through its vibrant streets and cultural hotspots.
A Visual Tribute to Singapore’s Diversity

Directed by Ben Mor—the visionary behind Coldplay’s Hymn For The Weekend—the music video brings together youths from diverse backgrounds, including cosplay artists, creatives, and performers. Set against Singapore’s multi-cultural backdrop, the video celebrates unity and shared experiences, perfectly aligning with the song’s message.
As the video unfolds, viewers are taken on a cinematic tour through Singapore’s most scenic locations, from the lush greenery of Fort Canning Park to the bustling Chinatown People’s Park Complex. The grand finale takes place at Marina Bay, where the featured youths join Coldplay on a floating stage, singing the chorus in a breathtaking moment of togetherness.
Behind the Scenes: A Special Singapore Connection
Filmed during Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour stop in Singapore (January 2024), the music video was created in collaboration with Warner Music Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board. To mark the release, an exclusive Coldplay fan party was held on 5 February 2025 at Marina Bay Sands’ newly revamped SkyPark deck, where fans got the first look at the video premiere.
