The Universal Bag builds on the success of Hindmarch’s iconic “I Am Not A Plastic Bag” campaign, which 14 years ago sparked global conversations about reducing single-use plastics. The new initiative continues to champion sustainable living, offering a practical yet desirable alternative to single-use bags. Since its global debut in 2021, the Universal Bag has already diverted over 230 tonnes of virgin plastic from landfills, equivalent to the weight of 19 London double-decker buses.

FairPrice Group and Little Farms are the first retailers to bring the Universal Bag to Singapore. Each retailer has customized their edition, reflecting their unique brand values:

  • FairPrice Group Edition: Now available in 39 stores nationwide.
  • Little Farms Edition: Launching in six stores this December.

Retailing at $22, the bags are crafted from 100% recycled plastic and certified under the Global Recycling Scheme (GRS), ensuring every material meets strict sustainability standards. Designed to be durable and stylish, the bag encourages repeated use, reducing waste and promoting a reuse-first mindset.
