RSP, a renowned global architectural and engineering design firm based in Singapore, has once again proven its industry leadership, with six of its architects being named among Singapore Business Review’s “Most Notable Architects Under 40.” Out of 20 distinguished professionals recognized, RSP’s rising stars dominated the list, highlighting the firm’s commitment to nurturing top local talent.
This year, Singapore Business Review reached out to over 25 architectural firms in the search for Singapore’s best young architects. The final list features nine female and 11 male architects, all under 40, who were selected through a rigorous nomination process.

- Samantha Wong, 35 (Associate): A graduate of the National University of Singapore with a Master of Architecture, Samantha is known for her innovative, user-centric designs that prioritize sustainability and inclusivity. Her key projects include Grand Park City Hall and Mandai Bird Paradise, and her work with EPIC Homes, where she built homes for Orang Asli families, reflects her commitment to community-focused design.
- Jocelyn Yong, 36 (Senior Associate): With over a decade of experience and a Master’s in Architecture from the University of New South Wales, Jocelyn has led projects like the SIT Punggol Campus Court and Alexandra Hospital Healing Campus. Driven by a passion for healthcare design, her projects are centered on eco-friendly, community-driven spaces.
- Matthias Fabian Alexander, 37 (Associate): Matthias, a graduate of Taylor’s University, excels in collaborative design and project management. His Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) certification has been applied to projects such as Dunearn 386 and the National Archives Singapore.
- Chin Qin You, 38 (Associate): Qin You’s expertise spans high-end residential to large-scale commercial projects. She played a key role in CapitaSpring, showcasing her skill in blending design innovation with functional excellence.
- Huijuan Lim, 39 (Senior Associate): With a portfolio that includes One Holland Village and MINDEF Annex, Huijuan is known for her meticulous project management and resource efficiency. Her passion for sports like long-distance cycling and dragon-boating reflects her strong sense of discipline and teamwork.
- Md Shaziran Bin Md Shahabdeen, 39 (Associate): Known for his creativity and client-focused approach, Shaziran has contributed to major projects such as Funan and One Holland Village. His clear communication and project management skills make him a key asset to RSP’s team.
