The 15th edition of the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2024 saw a sold-out crowd of 269,072 fans descend on the Marina Bay Street Circuit over the race weekend, marking the highest attendance since the circuit’s update. The redevelopment of the Bay Grandstand last year contributed to the surge in turnout, as fans flocked to witness the thrilling track action and entertainment.
Lando Norris claimed his first Singapore pole, securing the third for his team, while defending champion Max Verstappen’s Red Bull is set to start alongside him. Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are lined up on the second row, with Haas veteran Nico Hülkenberg delivering a remarkable performance to take the sixth spot. Tonight’s race could deliver a seventh different Singapore winner, keeping fans on the edge of their seats.
Beyond the track, tens of thousands of spectators enjoyed stellar performances from top artists, including OneRepublic, Kylie Minogue, Disclosure, Thirty Seconds to Mars, The Corrs, Kool & The Gang, HONNE, and BABYMONSTER, across the Padang and Wharf stages. For the final night, ticketholders can expect electrifying shows from Lenny Kravitz, Kylie Minogue, and Tones & I, alongside more than 100 performances throughout Circuit Park.
With excitement already building for next year’s event, all Super Early Bird (SEB) tickets for the 2025 race sold out in a record two days. Fans who missed out can look forward to the Early Bird ticket sale, which begins on 1 October.
