Gateway Theatre Presents “The Invisible Pangolin”: An Interactive Experience for Young Audiences

Get ready to embark on a heartwarming and educational journey with Gateway Theatre’s premiere of “The Invisible Pangolin.” This interactive theatrical performance, crafted for children aged 5 to 8, is set to delight and inspire young minds while teaching valuable life lessons.

A Story of Empathy, Understanding, and Resilience

“The Invisible Pangolin” is a one-hour production that goes beyond entertainment, offering a transformative exploration of empathy, understanding, and resilience. The play follows Penny the Sunda Pangolin as she navigates her anxiety in school and her fear of being seen by others. Through Penny’s trials and triumphs, young viewers will learn the value of friendship, the importance of inclusivity, the art of saying “no” in uncomfortable situations, and how to respect a friend’s need for space.

The Sunda Pangolin, a naturally shy and solitary mammal found in Singapore’s nature reserves, serves as a perfect metaphor for introverts. The story not only touches on the pangolin’s characteristics but also on how these traits mirror those of introverted individuals in society.
