Cosentino Presents “Strata”: A Dekton Sculptural Masterpiece by Eugene Kosgoron

Cosentino Singapore, a global company specializing in innovative and sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, proudly presents “Strata,” an outdoor sculptural masterpiece crafted in collaboration with Singapore-based artist Eugene Kosgoron.

Strata: Bridging Tradition and Modernity

“Strata” represents a bold departure from convention, seamlessly blending classicism with modernity. Drawing inspiration from Cosentino’s revered Dekton Pietra Kode, the sculpture showcases the exceptional versatility of Dekton. Pietra Kode pays homage to the timeless elegance of Vicenza stone, echoing the architectural foundations of ancient Rome. For “Strata,” Kosgoron selected Nebbia and Grafite, two reimagined stones reminiscent of the majestic villas and palaces designed by architect Andrea Palladio in the Cinquecento era.

Working alongside architectural designer Michael Yeow Zhi Wei, Kosgoron ingeniously integrated a series of apertures into the sculpture, allowing viewers to appreciate both its dynamic exterior surface and the luminous interior core illuminated at night.
