ProWine Singapore 2024 Concludes by Setting New Records in the World of Wines and Spirits

ProWine Singapore 2024, the premier trade fair for wines and spirits in the region, concluded its latest edition with a remarkable milestone – welcoming a record-breaking visitorship of 14,907 attendees. This represents a substantial increase of approximately 40% compared to the 2022 edition, solidifying ProWine Singapore’s reputation as the leading platform for the wine and spirits industry in Asia.

Diverse Audience and Global Representation

Spanning a sprawling showfloor of over 1,600 square meters, the four-day event attracted a diverse mix of local and international visitors, with around 65% of attendees hailing from Singapore and 35% from overseas. Industry professionals, business owners, and enthusiasts converged to explore the extensive offerings presented by over 200 exhibitors from across the globe. ProWine Singapore 2024 also featured seven national pavilions and country groups, including newcomers Germany and Ireland, as well as stalwarts like France and Spain.

Exhibitor Satisfaction and Diversity

Exhibitors at ProWine Singapore 2024 expressed satisfaction with the diverse and high-quality visitors, highlighting the invaluable networking opportunities with regional importers, distributors, and trade visitors. Representing 27 nations, exhibitors showcased a wide array of products, including renowned brands such as Cantine Sgarzi Luigi, Minelnico Organic Wines, and Clonakilty Distillery, underscoring the event’s international significance.

Introduction of New Zones and Programmes

In addition to its diverse exhibitor lineup, this year’s edition introduced several new features, including the inaugural ProWine Singapore Awards and two new zones – ProWine Zero, showcasing no and low-alcohol wines and spirits, and ProSpirits, featuring craft and artisanal spirits.

Attendees had the opportunity to participate in a series of masterclasses led by esteemed Masters of Wine and industry experts, covering a wide range of topics from the versatility of Pinot Grigio to the unique flavors of Japanese craft spirits. Discussions on the burgeoning no- and low-alcohol beverage sector provided valuable insights into industry trends and innovations.

Inaugural ProWine Singapore Awards 2024

A highlight of this year’s event was the inaugural ProWine Singapore Awards, recognizing excellence and innovation within the global wine and spirits community. Winners included The Beverage Clique Academy for The Best Wine & Spirits Education Programme and 67 Pall Mall for Best Wine & Spirits Establishment. Additionally, exhibitors Bobal de San Juan and Clonakilty Distillery were honored for their outstanding commitment to sustainability.

Looking Ahead to 2026

The success of ProWine Singapore 2024 sets the stage for an even more exciting edition in 2026, scheduled to take place from April 21st to 24th at the Singapore Expo.
