Emirates Reconnects Singapore and Phnom Penh with Daily Service

Emirates relaunches its daily Phnom Penh service via Singapore, reaffirming its commitment to connectivity in the region. This new route not only strengthens the airline’s presence in Southeast Asia but also enhances travel options between Singapore and Cambodia.

The inaugural EK348 flight, departing from Dubai at 0130 hrs, made a symbolic touchdown in Singapore at 1305 hrs before continuing its journey to Phnom Penh at 1535 hrs. The occasion was commemorated with a ceremonial event at the Emirates Lounge in Changi Airport Terminal 1, attended by esteemed guests including His Excellency Jamal Abdulla AlSuwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Singapore, and representatives from Cambodian Embassy, National Association of Travel Agents Singapore, and Changi Airport Group.

Phnom Penh, situated in the heart of Cambodia, serves as a pivotal economic, industrial, and cultural center in the region. Emirates’ reintroduction of this service not only enhances connectivity between Dubai and Southeast Asia but also facilitates seamless travel and trade between Singapore and Cambodia.

Emirates operates its modern Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on this route, featuring a three-class configuration with 8 private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class, and 304 spacious seats in Economy Class. The timing of Phnom Penh’s linked schedule with Singapore offers optimal connecting opportunities from key European and American cities, further bolstering Emirates’ global network.

Moreover, Emirates SkyCargo will provide ample cargo bellyhold capacity on the Boeing 777-300ER, facilitating the transportation of more than 300 tonnes per week of goods in and out of Phnom Penh. Key export commodities from Phnom Penh include textiles, pharmaceuticals, and high-value products.
