Griglia Opens New Katong Location, Bringing Italian Summer Flavors to Singaporean Food Scene

Griglia Open Fire Italian Kitchen unveils its second outpost in the vibrant Katong district. With a commitment to fostering warm moments shared over delicious food, Griglia brings the essence of ‘grigliata’ – traditional Italian summer gatherings around the grill – to life in its newest location, set to open this April.

Designed to evoke a sense of intimate Italian hospitality, the contemporary dining concept welcomes guests with soft lighting and rustic tones, setting the stage for an evening of culinary exploration. As patrons step in, they are greeted by a welcoming bar before being seated around the expansive open kitchen, where Executive Chef Andrea De Paolo works his magic on a new menu filled with beloved favorites and tantalizing additions.

The menu, inspired by regions across Italy, invites guests on a journey to discover the country’s diverse flavors and ingredients. From finger-food snacks featuring premium Cantabrian Anchovies to the indulgent Fusilli “Monograno Felicetti” with crab and Calabrian spice, each dish is a testament to Chef Andrea’s culinary creativity and commitment to quality.

For those seeking land-inspired dishes, options like the 36 Months Aged Parma Ham with smoked pears and the interactive Beef Tartare offer innovative twists on classic favorites. Meanwhile, seafood lovers can savor the smoky flavors of the Whole Spanish Turbot and other grilled mains cooked to perfection over charcoal.

To complement the gastronomic journey, Griglia offers an extensive selection of wines, featuring carefully curated choices from renowned Italian regions. Bartenders behind the bar craft signature cocktails infused with upcycled kitchen ingredients, adding a unique twist to classic favorites.

No Italian meal is complete without dessert, and Griglia delights guests with offerings like the Sicilian Cannoli and Upside-down Apple Cake, each paying homage to Italy’s rich confectionery traditions.

On weekends, Griglia presents the Weekend Grigliata, a daytime feast featuring appetizers, pasta, mains, and dessert, allowing guests to indulge in a rustic fireside experience.

Located at 139 East Coast Road, Singapore 428829, Griglia’s Katong venue welcomes guests for lunch on Fridays to Sundays and dinner from Tuesdays to Sundays, offering a culinary journey through Italy’s diverse flavors and traditions.
