Season one introduces a stellar lineup of acclaimed chefs, including the one-Michelin-starred LG Han from Labyrinth in Singapore, Chef Ton from Le Du and Nusara in Bangkok, Chef Pam from POTONG in Bangkok, award-winning pastry chef Janice Wong from 2AM Dessert Bar in Singapore, TV personality Bjorn Shen from Smalls & Artichoke in Singapore, and Asia 50 Best chef Jordy Navarra from Toyo Eatery in Manila.

Each episode of ‘Chefs Uncut’ serves as a window into the unique culinary styles, innovative techniques, and personal journeys of these esteemed chefs. From the vibrant streets of Bangkok to the serene villages of the Philippines, the series offers a captivating exploration of the diverse culinary landscape of Asia, celebrating its rich cultural heritage and flavors.

The inception of the documentary emerged from a conversation between director, producer, and editor Jon Lister and his friend Arijit Sengupta during the quieter days of the COVID-19 pandemic. What began as a passion project centered around Singapore’s LG Han of Labyrinth unexpectedly caught the attention of Netflix, facilitated by distributor Bomanbridge, who expressed interest in transforming it into a six-part series.
