The impact of these measures is evident in the staggering surge of Chinese New Year (CNY) bookings to Singapore via Trip.com Group’s platforms, which have skyrocketed by a remarkable 206% compared to last year. Impressively, nearly half (47%) of these bookings are attributed to families seeking unforgettable holiday experiences.

To extend a warm welcome to Chinese tourists, Trip.com Group, in collaboration with its partners in Singapore, has rolled out a series of exclusive promotions. Partnering with Sentosa Development Corporation, Chinese tourists booking hotels through Trip.com Group’s platform can enjoy enticing perks, including a special welcome gift from Sentosa. This gift package offers an array of exclusive privileges such as complimentary entry to Sentosa Island and free admissions to select attractions, ensuring an unforgettable vacation experience.

Recent revelations by Trip.com Group forecast a substantial 46.8% increase in inbound travel to Singapore during this year’s CNY festive period compared to 2023, accompanied by an impressive 108.6% surge in total trip expenditure for inbound bookings over the same period.
