Virtual Reality Soars to New Heights

Step into the future as Korean Air introduces the concept of virtual humans in their safety video. Set against the backdrop of the intricately designed “Korean Air Safety Lounge” with airplane motives, this immersive virtual space enhances the clarity of inflight safety rules. The video stars Rina, a virtual human donned in a Korean Air flight attendant uniform, who imparts essential safety instructions after completing training at Korean Air’s Cabin Crew Training Center, earning the honorary title of flight attendant. Accompanying Rina are the members of MAVE, a virtual girl group of four, playing the roles of passengers following the safety guidelines.

In a groundbreaking collaboration with Metaverse Entertainment of Netmarble F&C, Korean Air introduces virtual human Rina and the members of MAVE. This marks the first instance of an airline incorporating virtual humans in a safety video, demonstrating the airline’s commitment to innovation and customer engagement.

The virtual safety video, now featured on all Korean Air flights, invites passengers to experience inflight safety in a revolutionary way.
