Vietjet’s flight crews welcome passengers boarding the debut flight
As the festive season unfolds and the promise of a New Year beckons, Vietjet is spreading the joy of travel with exciting new routes connecting Vietnam to Cambodia and Laos. Celebrating the spirit of exploration, the airline has inaugurated its first flight from Hanoi to Siem Reap and announced an upcoming route from Ho Chi Minh City to Vientiane, set to commence operations on 25 February 2024.
With seven return flights per week, the Siem Reap – Hanoi route offers travelers seamless access to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Angkor Wat. Boasting a flight time of just one hour and 45 minutes per leg, this convenient connection opens the door to two captivating destinations. Explore the ancient wonders of Angkor Wat and soak in the charm of Hanoi’s old buildings and oriental allure.
Starting 25 February 2024, Vietjet will introduce a four-weekly service from Ho Chi Minh City to Vientiane, operating every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. With a flight time mirroring the Siem Reap route, Vientiane welcomes travelers with its renowned architectural landmarks, temples, pagodas, local festivals, and unique cuisine. As a bonus, visitors can also immerse themselves in the vibrant energy of Vietnam’s largest city, Ho Chi Minh City, where bustling streets and culinary delights await.
In celebration of these new routes, Vietjet is offering passengers a golden opportunity to hunt for flight tickets every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday until 31 December 2023. With base fares starting from just USD0 (exclusive of tax and fees), travel enthusiasts can plan their journeys from now until 31 March 2024 (excluding peak season and public holidays). Additionally, passengers will receive complimentary Sky Care travel insurance and can accumulate reward points through the SkyJoy loyalty program as a token of appreciation.
As Vietjet marks its birthday, the airline is extending the celebration with seven golden days from 18 – 24 December 2023, offering “lucky gifts” in the form of e-vouchers worth up to USD41 (VND1,000,000) applicable to all Vietjet flight routes.
