Marina Bay Sands dazzled as it transformed into a Christmas wonderland during a spectacular unveiling of its annual Christmas Light-up event. The integrated resort partnered with Dior Beauty for the first time, creating a holiday season filled with dining, shopping, leisure, and entertainment delights.
Located at the Grand Colonnade South of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, the Christmas Light-up featured an 11-meter-tall Christmas tree adorned with Monsieur Dior’s lucky star, nestled amidst 14 garden-inspired floral trees. The installation was inspired by the gates of Les Tuileries Garden and designed by Italian visual artist Pietro Ruffo.
The evening event was graced by Ms. Pia Wurtzbach, 2015 Miss Universe, who joined the festivities to unveil the dazzling Christmas display. The celebration included an array of performances featuring beloved Christmas characters, including gingerbread men, nutcrackers, and ballerinas. The event concluded with an enchanting performance by Australian singer David Campbell, accompanied by a children’s choir, serenading the crowd with classic Christmas songs.
Throughout the holiday season, Marina Bay Sands will be adorned with enchanting animations, adding to the festive atmosphere. The three iconic towers of Marina Bay Sands, the ArtScience Museum’s façade, and the Sands SkyPark will be decorated with captivating displays, providing a picturesque backdrop for visitors.
The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is also joining the festivities, offering the “Magic of a Dior Holiday.” A Christmas pop-up at Basement 2 features Dior Beauty, where visitors can experience Dior’s unique offerings, including pouch embroidery, engraving, and gift-wrapping. Limited-edition holiday collections, including J’Adore, Rouge Dior, and Dior Prestige, are available, along with exclusive Marina Bay Sands items.
The Shoppes has expanded its offerings with new brands and boutiques, such as Ba&sh, Estee Lauder, Jo Malone London, and more. The Luxury Children’s Precinct now boasts Kids21’s flagship boutique, offering luxury childrenswear and lifestyle accessories from renowned designer brands.
Front Row 2023, part of Marina Bay Sands’ year-round “Festivalisation” strategy, highlighted luxury fashion and immersive experiences. The event featured a show by Japanese designer Tomo Koizumi and the return of the annual Little Luxury Stars kids’ fashion event.
In December, MARQUEE Singapore’s line-up will feature globally acclaimed electronic music producer and DJ Marshmello, Chinese rapper PG One, and Grammy-nominated DJ Steve Aoki. These performances promise to elevate the party experience to new heights.
