Join the 10th Annual Santa Race for Wishes: A Virtual Celebration of Giving

It’s that time of year again! The much-anticipated Santa Race for Wishes, an annual community and fundraising event organized by Make-A-Wish Singapore, is back for its remarkable tenth edition. But this year, there’s a twist. Due to the continued impact of COVID-19, Santa Race has transformed into a virtual event, allowing everyone to participate from the safety and comfort of their own spaces.

In the spirit of inclusivity and family-friendliness, a cycling option was introduced last year, making the event an activity suitable for participants of all ages. It’s an opportunity for families to come together and create cherished memories while contributing to a noble cause.

The mission for this year’s virtual event is clear – the aim is to accumulate 21,517 kilometers, a distance that will virtually take us from sunny Singapore to the icy North Pole. The goal is to bring Santa and his friends back to spread the festive joy where it’s needed the most. But here’s the twist: participants in the virtual race will be able to contribute to this journey by submitting their distance through the 42Race application, available for download on the App Store and Google Play.

Here’s the exciting part – this year, participants can set their own pace and clock in as much distance as they want. As they accumulate kilometers, they’ll unlock e-badges at the 3km, 5km, 10km, 20km, or 50km milestone. It’s a fantastic way to challenge yourself while contributing to a heartwarming cause.

Santa Race for Wishes is not just about an exciting virtual race; it’s about making a difference in the lives of children with critical illnesses. All the proceeds from this event go towards granting the wishes of these brave children, bringing them a little magic and joy during challenging times.

Here’s how you can get involved and make a meaningful impact:

  • Raise awareness about Santa Race for Wishes 2023 and encourage your friends and followers to participate.
  • Share the story of Make-A-Wish Singapore, educating the public about our wish-granting efforts and the remarkable children we support. You might even reach an audience who knows of an eligible child or young adult for referral or is keen to donate.
  • Advocate for the life-changing impact of wishes on not only children with critical illnesses but also their families and the broader community.

The main beneficiaries of this event are children with critical illnesses, including those with life-threatening illnesses, critically ill children, children with terminal illnesses, children with special needs, underprivileged children, and sick children.

Registration for Santa Race for Wishes 2023 is FREE! You are encouraged to donate generously to help make more wishes come true. Register now here and help spread the joy and warmth of the holiday season.
