Step into the enchanting L1 Atrium adorned with vibrant installations that will leave you spellbound. Marvel at the luminous rabbits, wooden floral crates, and the breathtaking rainbow lantern tunnel centerpiece that’s practically begging for Instagram-worthy family photos. Don’t forget to share your moments on Instagram and tag @thewoodleighmall!

Craft Your Own Magic: Lanterns and Mooncakes

Unleash your creativity at the lantern crafting and mooncake making workshops at the atrium. Design your very own lantern using craft materials, and let your artistic side shine. Plus, learn the art of crafting mini snowskin mooncakes, customizing their colors and shapes. These handmade treasures are the essence of the Mid-Autumn Festival, made with love.

To join these workshops, simply spend $30 in a single receipt to receive the respective workshop passes. Here are the details:

Lantern Crafting Workshops:

• Weekdays: 15, 18, and 19 September at 7 pm
• Weekends: 16 and 17 September, 2 pm & 5 pm

Mooncake Making Workshops:

• Weekdays: 20, 21, and 22 September at 7 pm
• Weekends: 23 September at 2 pm & September 24 at 2 pm and 5 pm

Enchanting Storytelling Sessions

Immerse yourself in the captivating world of Mid-Autumn tales with storytelling sessions by EduGrove Mandarin Enrichment Centre and Berries World of Learning School. Let the little ones be mesmerized by the stories that unfold at The Woodleigh Mall’s Level 1 Atrium.

Calligraphy and Robotics Workshops

Cultivate your focus and dexterity with Chinese calligraphy workshops led by Chengzhu Mandarin Centre on 20 September at 6 pm. Learn the art of basic strokes and proper brush techniques to create visually stunning calligraphy.

For those craving a bit of tech-meets-art action, Futurum Academy’s robotics workshop is the place to be. Dive into three-dimensional craftsmanship with hands-on guidance from Futurum Academy facilitators. Sessions are available on weekdays from 2 pm to 5:30 pm and weekends from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Mid-Autumn Trivia and Games

From 15 – 24 September, quench your thirst for knowledge with fascinating Mid-Autumn science facts displayed on interactive screens at the atrium. These educational nuggets, provided by The Learning Lab, BlueTree Education, and The Eton Academy, explore topics like gravitational pull and moon phases. Get ready to be amazed!

Test your knowledge of Mid-Autumn myths and legends with the Mid-Autumn Trivia Game. For those seeking more action, take a shot at the Lantern Quest Game, where your speed and skills will be put to the test as you aim to hit as many lanterns as possible in just 60 seconds.

And for a chance to win attractive F&B vouchers, don’t miss the thrilling Rabbit Hunt Digital Game. Embark on a treasure hunt around the mall by scanning QR codes to collect all five rabbits.

Lantern Walk for Charity

Join in lighting up the Bidadari estate with lanterns on a moonlit stroll happening on 23 September at 7 pm. Capture beautiful memories with your loved ones and engage in trivia games, including Mid-Autumn-themed trivia and lantern riddle guessing, to win exclusive prizes. Plus, every participant will receive a goodie bag worth more than $10, filled with delicious treats.

For a registration fee of just $10 (capped at 100 sign-ups), you can be part of this heartwarming event. What’s even more special is that The Woodleigh Mall will match dollar for dollar with every Lantern Walk ticket sold. All proceeds will be used to purchase essential items for families in need in collaboration with Viriya Community Services, a social service agency organization dedicated to promoting fulfilling lives in the community.
