VibranSEA: Where Art and Science Converge

The S.E.A. Aquarium invites you to immerse yourself in the enchanting world of VibranSEA. This immersive exhibition is a fascinating fusion of art, science, and education, designed to inspire a profound appreciation for the ocean and its incredible biodiversity.

VibranSEA is divided into four distinct zones, each offering a unique perspective on the aquatic realm:

Zone One – The Great Descent: Begin your journey by descending through the layers of the ocean, with captivating displays that showcase the mesmerizing phenomenon of marine bioluminescence. Watch in awe as the colors shift, and the mysteries of the deep come to life.

Zone Two – On the Inside: Get up close and personal with marine life in ways you’ve never imagined. Using X-ray and ultrasound technologies, you’ll peer inside the anatomy of marine creatures, gaining insights into their incredible adaptations and survival strategies.

Zone Three – Secret Seascapes: Explore the breathtaking beauty of a kelp forest and vibrant coral reefs, teeming with a diverse array of marine inhabitants. Discover the delicate balance of life within these remarkable ecosystems.

Zone Four – Time and Tide: As you reach the final zone, prepare to be moved by thought-provoking art installations created in collaboration with local artists. The Aquarist Lab: Behind-the-Scenes Marine Magic

For those eager to go behind the scenes and witness the magic of marine care and cultivation, the Aquarist Lab offers an exclusive opportunity. Here, you’ll gain a unique perspective on the breeding, nurturing, and care of juvenile marine animals, as well as the cultivation of microorganisms that play a vital role in ocean ecosystems.

As you peer through in-park windows, you’ll catch a glimpse of marine nursery habitats and plankton culture setups. For a more immersive experience, consider purchasing a ticket for the “Behind-the-Scenes: Aquarist Lab” guided tour. This tour provides a firsthand look at the dedication and hard work of aquarists, with insights into plankton cultivation and husbandry for select animal species, including sea jellies. You’ll also tour the Quarantine Room, where animals receive specialized care before rejoining the main habitats.
