Voices of Singapore (VOS) unveils new flagship space at Capitol Singapore featuring multiple studios with flexible configurations for events, recitals, and recordings, catering to a wide range of musical and event purposes in VOS.
The Capitol Singapore, first built by M.A. Namazie, an early Singapore pioneer of Persian origin, in 1929, remains an architectural and lifestyle gem in the heart of Singapore’s civic and cultural district. VOS’s new flagship space is located at the first basement level of the Capitol Singapore building – an extension of the choral society’s current space on the third level.
The new space includes multiple studios with flexible configurations designed to accommodate various musical and event needs. These needs include choir rehearsals, individual music lessons, workshops, recitals, and recordings.
Additionally, the studios are equipped with recording equipment, sound systems, and video conferencing capabilities for various remote scenarios such as recital livestreams, remote rehearsals and lessons, and hosting international choir exchanges.
