The idea for LittleOak was born in Singapore, out of one mum’s desire to give the best and most nourishing nutrition to her children. Australian mother of two Elke Pascoe was living and working in Singapore in 2016, when she discovered that goat milk worked wonders for her son’s milk intolerances. She was then inspired to share with other parents and children a significantly more natural formula option than traditionally had been available.
Rich in vitamins and minerals such as magnesium and taurine, goat milk naturally contains A2 protein, has naturally occurring prebiotics (oligosaccharides) and lower levels of lactose (than cow milk), resulting in less allergies and digestive stress so babies and toddlers can grow big and strong, just as nature intended.
LittleOak collaborated with nutrition and paediatric experts to develop their range of formula and toddler milks to ensure that each bottle of formula provides the complete nutritional needs of babies, while being gentle on delicate digestive systems.
While most formula brands follow a common process of heating and treating the milk several times to make formula, LittleOak uses a world-first From Fresh process and heats their milk only once, halving the heating process, to preserve all the natural goodness and essential vitamins of goat milk.
LittleOak is the first formula in the world to use flaxseed oil to replace canola oil and palm oil, and naturally occurring and sustainable algae sourced DHA and ARA, at levels that are scientifically proven to benefit babies.
