I have a thing for Under Armour (UA) running shoes.
You see, I first started jogging regularly, up to 7 times a week daily, when I embarked on a weight loss journey back in December 2015 and my first pair of serious running shoes were from UA. I did my research then, to ensure performance and support are of the utmost importance and UA’s range of running shoes had rave reviews.
Since then, I have gotten another two pairs of Under Armour running shoes and the UA Flow Velociti Wind 2 will be my fourth pair of UA running shoes.
What’s cool about this model?
For one, it is ultra-lightweight at 237g, just like the rest of the UA running shoes I had previously. Lightweight, rubberless and durable, are the three key attributes. The durability can be attested to, my first pair of UA running shoes that I bought in 2015 only came apart recently, after more than six years of trusty service, accompanying me for countless daily runs, 5km, 10km, and even half-marathon runs.
The UA Flow Velociti Wind 2 has a NEUTRAL UA shoes profile, providing a balance of flexibility and cushioning. This means it is good for long-distance running as well as for daily wear.
The mesh top allows optimises containment with lightweight lockdown and allows maximum breathability, while the one-piece midsole provides responsive and long-lasting cushion.
With UA’s Flow technology, it eliminates the rubber outsole, creating a lightweight and seamless ride on any surface. The outsole material is also super-durable and increases ground traction.
For the fashion conscious, the UA Flow Velociti Wind 2 comes in an assortment of mixed colours like Quirky Lime/Blaze Orange, Pitch Gray/Phosphor Green and many more. Details.
It is currently priced at S$229 a pair.
I have been doing my daily runs with my UA Flow Velociti Wind 2 and it has been serving me well. 🙂
