Tribecar launches its new campaign – “Drive for Good” fund, a new initiative in conjunction with the launch of its new app, in line with spurring nationwide access to quality healthcare.
From now until 20 February 2022, Tribecar will be pledging S$4, which includes a matching donation of S$2.52, to the “Drive for Good” fund for every app download at S$1.48, for the benefit of Singapore’s marginalised communities. The fund aims to reach a target of S$40,000 by the end of the campaign.
Proceeds from Tribecar’s “Drive for Good” fund will be used to support Singapore Red Cross’ Community Health on Wheels (CHoW) and Medical Chaperone and Transportation programmes, with the aim of driving better continuity of care for patients and enhanced medical support.
CHoW, a volunteer-driven initiative supported by around 60 healthcare professionals, provides free ancillary services and basic medical support to doorsteps in Singapore’s heartlands, complementing Singapore’s healthcare network and ensuring better continuity of care for patients.
Additionally, proceeds from Tribecar’s “Drive for Good” fund will be used to provide subsidised transport and chaperone services to help the elderly and disabled get to and from medical appointments.
Apart from the “Drive for Good” fund, Tribecar has likewise initiated other community programmes amidst the pandemic, including offering subsidised rates for medical frontliners, rewarding vaccinated consumers with discount vouchers, delivering food to seniors and the needy, and providing affordable pricing across all its car-sharing options in various COVID-19 transition phases.
Tribecar’s app is available for download via the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
