OPPO names Lawrence Wong (@ohohlawrence) – one of the most influential stars in Chinese Showbiz today – as the celebrity brand ambassador of its latest Reno7 Series.
Renowned for his multi-faceted talents across acting and singing, Lawrence Wong is the perfect muse for the brand to encourage Reno users in Singapore in uncovering the unlimited versions of themselves, and embracing their ‘Unlimited Me, in Portrait’.
Beyond encouraging the discovery of unlimited versions of individuals, the partnership with Wong will also showcase the Reno7 series’ groundbreaking Flagship Portrait Camera system, which features a 50MP main camera powered by a flagship IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a dedicated colour temperature sensor on the rear of the device.
Notably, the system also comprises of a 32MP front camera that is powered by a next-generation flagship RGBW sensor — the IMX709. Co-developed by OPPO and Sony, the new IMX709 sensor will make its world debut on the Reno7 Pro 5G.
Packed with creative tools such as Focus Tracking, Dual-View Video, Flash Snapshot, the Reno7 Pro 5G will help users capture precious moments through professional-level images and videos that best showcases their ‘Unlimited Me, in Portrait’.
Its impressive imaging features including the AI Highlight Video, Bokeh Flare Portrait Video, and Portrait Mode will also allow users to unleash their professional portrait photography and videography skills and create original, realistic portrait photos and videos.

The opening act of the inaugural partnership will see OPPO introduce an intimate dive into Wong’s #UnlimitedMeInPortrait story in a video campaign, through the lens of the Reno7 Series. This builds on the longstanding legacy of the Reno Series to empower individuals through the unlimited possibilities in photo and video at the touch of a button.
Wong’s successful, yet varied roles that have coloured film and television, as well as his roots in Singapore, invoke courage and creativity in self-expression that resonates with local users. Reunion Dinner
The collaboration will also include an upcoming OPPO-sponsored Chinese New Year-themed movie which Lawrence will be starring in.
The movie, ‘Reunion Dinner’, is slated for the big screen on 20 January. ‘Reunion Dinner’ is presented by Clover Films and iQIYI, in association with King Kong Media Production and Mediacorp.
In line with the premiere of the local festive movie, OPPO aims to showcase how OPPO phone’s excellent features will help people reunite with loved ones and rebuild lost connections in the pandemic era, as well as rediscover the #UnlimitedMeInPortrait versions of themselves in the preparation for and during Chinese New Year.

The Reno7 Pro 5G will arrive in Singapore from 15 January onwards at a retail price of S$999 at OPPO Concept Stores, OPPO’s Shopee and Lazada Flagship Stores, M1, Singtel and StarHub as well as all authorised retailers.
From 15 January till 4 March, users can purchase the Reno7 Pro 5G at a promotional price of S$919 (U.P S$999) at OPPO Concept Stores, and OPPO’s Shopee and Lazada Flagship Stores, will come with a pair of OPPO Enco Air earphones and a pair of movie tickets for ‘Reunion Dinner’, while stocks last.
