Finally, a mobile subscription Family Plan that gives the power back to the customers to choose whom we would like to share our telco benefits with. Family is no longer defined as just your immediate or extended family with Circles.Life’s Family Plan, but anyone we choose!

Unlike other telco family plans, Circles.Life Family Plan is completely flexible, free from contracts and other requirements like having to buy broadband or other services.

The Family plan comes with 200GB of 4G data, 500 minutes of call time and 200 SMS, all for as low as $15 per line for six SIM cards. You can choose to buy between 2 SIMs to 6 SIMs, with the price per line lowered when more SIMs are added. More data, call minutes, SMS and even parental controls to block unsafe websites can be added to the plan similar to other Circles.Life plans.

The Circles.Life Family Plan was designed to help subscribers save, by having the benefits of multiple phone plans bundled into one bill, which is sent to the Primary SIM plan holder. You can link up with your kids, parents, housemates or even friends, with each of you getting your own account. In short, the more people under your data sharing plan, the more all of you save.

I can think of several use cases for the Circles.Life Family Plan which totally make sense:

  • a small household with a domestic helper who is not a family member
  • a group of tenants/friends in a rented apartment who are all not family members
  • a group of singles who hang out together all the time and are already sharing other subscription services like Netflix and Disney+
  • a small company with less than six staff, looking to provide an affordable mobile subscription for all staff

I tested out the Family Plan over 6 months, distributing six SIM cards to my son, a family helper and a few staff at my agency, AM Collective. The setup was easy and intuitive, with one dashboard to manage all the accounts, managed by me, as the primary SIM holder.

Imagine six separate mobile subscription bills, now all rolled into one for S$90 a month if all the users do not exceed the 200GB of 4G data, 500 minutes of call time and 200 SMS collectively. That works out to just S$15 a month, a massive cost-saving compared to individual plans.

How the Circles.Life Family Plan works

The Family Plan is similar to how other more conventional consumer cellular family plans work. However, the biggest advantage of having a postpaid family plan with Circles.Life is no unexpected charges; no sudden over limits and no catch. You stay fully in control of each plan.

Best of all, the mobile plan is contract-free, which means you are free to join or leave any time. You also get access to special deals and perks in the form of add-ons and boosts shared between all SIM accounts. Everything you need is on one dashboard.

You can have a maximum of up to 6 SIMs under one family cellular plan. That’s 200GB data, 500 minutes call time and 200 SMS shared across 6 SIMs. Once you receive your welcome pack with every SIM under your mobile plan, activate the Primary SIM and your Sub SIMs will also be able to port their number over to the Family Plan via the Circles.Life app.

Your monthly bill, consisting of the Primary SIM and Sub SIM(s), will be automatically charged between the 1-14 of each month to the credit/debit card attached to your SIM plan. Any additional charges incurred from each linked SIMs will also appear in the consolidated bill sent to the Primary SIM account holder’s email.

That’s it!
