StarHub will be the first in Singapore to unleash 5G services for customers. With StarHub’s new Mobile+ or Biz+ mobile plans, customers will be able to automatically experience some early 5G benefits using compatible mobile devices currently available in the market.
The early trial access to StarHub 5G is free-of-charge for customers in the lead up to the full commercial launch of ultra-fast, ultra-responsive 5G standalone services next year.
StarHub 5G signals currently cover 53% of Singapore’s populated areas and will expand to reach 70% coverage by September 2020. The areas include busy locations and major residential hubs, such as Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Central Business District, Clementi, Jurong, Orchard, Tampines, Woodlands and Yishun, among others.
The full list of areas covered is available on StarHub’s website.
