Suga of BTS and IU are collaborating on a digital single

K-Pop boyband BTS is already working on a new album, but that’s not the only thing fans of the group should be happy about. BTS member Suga is also set to collaborate with Korean singer IU. According to IU’s agency EDAM Entertainment, “IU will be releasing a digital single, and she will also be releasing a music video along with her music.”

This upcoming song marks IU’s comeback to music after the release of a mini-album in November 2019, titled ‘Love Poem’. Although we were able to watch her in the K-Drama Hotel Del Luna last year, we can’t help but be extremely excited about the upcoming song, especially since she looks absolutely gorgeous in the official teaser photo as seen here:

It has been revealed that IU played an active part in producing the track, including the lyrics, composition, and overall concept. Since this is a collaboration with Suga, though, we should definitely expect a different style and feel compared to her past songs. It isn’t clear yet if Suga was only part of the production or will actually feature in the song itself, but we’re hoping for both!

IU’s new digital single will be released along with a music video this May 6, 2020.
