Here’s how to get free tickets for the Chingay Parade happening this 31 January and 1 February

TikTok celebrates Singapore’s unique multicultural personality by teaming up with the Chingay Parade, a colourful extravaganza of the country’s cosmopolitan culture, to launch the hashtag challenge #chingaysingapore2020.

From now until 29th January 2020, the challenge encourages Singaporeans to dance, sing or simply share their favourite Chingay moments with TikTok’s special filter and the parade’s official song ‘Knit As One’.

The top 5 submissions with the most number of views will stand a chance to win a pair of Category One tickets to the Chingay Parade on 1st February 2020.

The 2020 celebration will see 6,000 volunteer performers displaying their talents in this dynamic showcase that centres on the theme ‘Colours in Harmony’. Highlights of the event include an exhilarating opening with the release of 200-meter long firecrackers, the world’s largest and longest flying dragon, laser lights and pyrotechnics, stunning displays of fireworks as well as both traditional and contemporary performances.

Here’s how you can participate to win a pair of tickets to the Chingay Parade on 1st February 2020 (8 PM):

  1. Look for the Chingay filter under the ‘Hot’ tab + Select ‘Knit As One’ as your background music
  2. Dance, Sing, or simply show us your best festive moments
  3. Hashtag your videos with #ChingaySingapore2020

Winners will be notified via a push notification on TikTok and announced on Chingay Facebook page on 30 January 2020. See terms and conditions here.
