The Chili Krab Burg is inspired by Singaporeans’ love for the famous seafood dish, with a vegan shredded konjac “crab” meat patty, plant-based cholesterol-free sunny side up egg made from pumpkin, and homemade chilli crab sauce made with a secret rempah blend of chilli padi, red chilli, and ginger.
VeganBurg tops it off with farm-fresh hand-leafed romaine lettuce, coriander, and finely shredded cabbage. Creamy vegan mayo and an artisan fibre-fueled wholemeal bun complete this carefully crafted masterpiece that will surely convert even the most die-hard meat-eaters.

Plus, we got to try out the Chili Krab Burg ahead of its official launch on National Day, and, newsflash: it’s just as mouth-wateringly good as it sounds.
The texture of the mock crab patty, crispy on the outside and fluffy and tender on the inside, puts some real meat patties to shame. VeganBurg’s handcrafted chilli crab sauce is tasty and flavourful, and the fries complement the burger well. The lemonade is super refreshing, without any overwhelming ginger taste, and the ice cream just the right mix of sweet and sour.
